The Jarama decides the CER and the Clio Cup Final Podium
The Jarama RACE Circuit has hosted this weekend the last event of the seasons of the Spanish Endurance Championship, as well as the Renault Clio Cup and the Classic & Legend Rounds.
After an intense qualifying daynon Saturday, Sunday began at 9.00 A.M. racing the Classic & Legend Rounds. The cold and the rain were the protagonists of the day, although they did not cause too many run-off of track, the pilots, in some of the races had to mount rain tires.
In spite of everything, the faithful fans of Madrid has come once again to witness an event already classic in the national calendar (in the case of the Clio Cup more than 40 editions disputed), and has been able to see how this is decided on the final champions of each of the categories of the Spanish Endurance Championship of (CER) and the Clio Cup.
In the CER, the final victory of the Class 1Championship was to Amalia Vinyes who accompanied, in this meeting by her brother, the pilot Joan Vinyes, has achieved the title after a second place in the first race and a first place in the second race.
In Class 2, the winners have been the couple Fernan-Alvaro Huertas; and Class 3 drivers Marta Suria-Gonzalo De Andres were the ones who picked up the final title, after a great struggle during the weekend. On the other hand, the French Marc Guillot, playing the Clio Cup title against Nicolas Milan and Jordi Palomeras, achievement clinch the final title.
The next event of the Jarama RACE Circuit will take place on Sunday November 16 with the dispute of the last and final event RACE Touring Car Trophy 2014.
