More than 3,000 people enjoyed the legendary circuit
I San Silvestre Jarama-RACE, disputed the last day of the year 2014, brought together more than 3,000 people in the path of the speed circuit of the Jarama Circuit.
I San Silvestre Jarama-RACE, disputed the last day of the year 2014, brought together more than 3,000 people in the path of the speed of the Jarama Circuit, to which a thousand riders gave two laps, equivalent to 7,700 meters in length.
Thus, the race at the circuit in Madrid has become the alternative to the mythical San Silvestre Madrid, in response to demand from all those fans who want to run the last day of the year and, in turn, arrive on time to the family dinner.
The morning began at 11.00 a.m. with the careers of the smaller ones, which, according to the age, increased the distance of travel.
Thus, from 3 years, covering 100 meters, to 13, which they did for a kilometer, more than 50 young people participated in this first edition. All of them had medal as acknowledgment to the effort made.
Then Special Olympics disabled supporters also covered part of the straight line, in different categories, and all got their reward for participation.
Finally, at 13.30 hours the San Silvestre race in Jarama RACE started and Ricardo Serrano, with a time of 24:23 minutes, made the two laps of the Jarama Circuit , followed by David Lorenzo (24 : 23 minutes) and Juan Luis Mata (26:31).
In the female category, Rehinma Serro Hussen won with a time of 26:41 minutes, followed by Tamara Sanfabio (28:14 minutes) and Esther Ramos (28:27).
